Company Structures
There are currently two main types of company structures that can be utilized in Vantage:
Company
A Company represents a single entity imported from an integration, such as Q360. This is the most prevalent form of company structure.
These are automatically created when data is imported from an integration.
Group
A Group comprises several related companies that, when combined, represent a larger corporate entity. This structure is advantageous for companies with multiple divisions or subsidiaries.
Before creating a Group, all constituent child companies must be established. The Group itself is essentially a framework for consolidating and viewing the data from its child companies in a single dashboard.
Groups are created by the developers upon request. Please confirm all child entities are configured correctly before requesting a Group.
Important Considerations:
- Modifications to data within a Group actually affect the data of the child companies.
- The Group serves primarily as a unified interface for data aggregation.
Note: A new structure, Multi-Tenant, is under planning but not yet implemented. It is designed for MSPs (Managed Service Providers) to manage and view all their clients from a single platform. This structure is particularly beneficial for entities like Presentation Products, which handle numerous clients.
